Nansen Dialogue Network

The main objective of the network is to contribute to reconciliation and peacebuilding through interethnic dialogue between strategic individuals and groups that have strong influence or decision making power in deeply divided communities.

Document Summer school in Fuzine
Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Nansen Dialogue Centre Osijek in the period from 24th to 29th August 2010. organised a summer school in Fuzine (Gorski Kotar, Croatia) called "Summer School of civil courage and resistance to evil."
Participants were a group of 20 young people, students from High School Centres on the territory of Vukovar (Croatia) and Srebrenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

PUBLIC STATEMENT

Disclaimer of Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo with regards to an article published in a daily "Oslobodjenje" on 17.02.2010 under the title "Non-governmental Sector against Visa Liberation"
We are publically expressing our complains with regards to the article published in a daily "Oslobodjenje". As stated there, someone can get wrong impression that all non-governmental organization in BiH are against visa liberation for BiH citizens.
The fact is: at the meeting of European Parliamentarians and small numbers of representatives NGO sector from BiH that took place on 15.02 2010, NDC Sarajevo Representative publically expressed disagreement with statements of number of NGO representatives, which suggested to the Parliamentarians that visa liberation for BiH citizens should not take place before end of the elections. NDC Sarajevo attitude is that such sensitive issue must not be used by as a mean for political pressure. Citizens of BiH deserved to travel freely, while political pressure should not be exercised in a context of visa liberation.

Document The fourth Workshop in High School Centre Srebrenica
Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo, with expert support of the Centre for culture of peace and non-violence "Mali korak" from Zagreb, in the period of 12-14 February 2010 in Hotel "Terme", Ilidza organized a follow up seminar for teachers from three high school centres from Jajce, Zvornik and Srebrenica municipalities.

The Nansen Academy is an educational institution for adult students with different political, religious and cultural backgrounds. The Academy is founded on the inheritance of humanism and aims at strengthening the knowledge about this inheritance.
