The main objective of the network is to contribute to reconciliation and peacebuilding through interethnic dialogue between strategic individuals and groups that have strong influence or decision making power in deeply divided communities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Kingdom of Norway

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Kingdom of Norway is the main donor of Nansen Dialogue Network and Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo.

USAID

American people through the USAID in Bosnia and Herzegovina financially support the NDC Sarajevo project of establishment and the work of "Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" in Srebrenica.

The Balkan Trust for Democracy

The Balkan Trust for Democracy financially supports the NDC Sarajevo project:

"Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" opened in Srebrenica

In the presence of a huge number of invitees the "Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" was opened on 17th of November 2009 in Srebrenica. Also, H.E. Mr. Hakon Blankenborg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia, and Mr. Jens Erik Grondahl, Deputy Chief of Mission of Norwegian Embassy to Croatia, were present at the Ceremony.

Ms. Ljuljjeta Goranci Brkić, General Manager of NDC Sarajevo, H.E. Mr. Jan Braathu, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Jonathan Moore, Deputy Chief of Mission of USA Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Mr. Allan Reed, USAID Mission Director, and professor Steinar Bryn, Director of Nansen Dialogue Project from Lillehammer, Norway, addressed to guests.

After the Opening ceremony and cocktail a premiere projection of the documentary "Untold stories" was held in the movie theatre in the House of Culture, produced by Nansen Dialogue Centre Osijek. Making of this documentary is financially supported by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway to Croatia. Documentary contains testimonies of the people who risked their lives to help members of other ethnic groups to survive during conflicts in Ex Yugoslavia. Among others, there are three short stories from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Set up of the "Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" is a result of joint work of Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo and
Nansen coordination boards for Srebrenica and Bratunac in last several years in establishing and promotion of interethnic dialogue at territories of these two municipalities which is financially supported by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Activities of the "Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" will be directed toward strengthening of interethnic dialogue, communication and cooperation at territories of Bratunac and Srebrenica municipalities and wider in the region.

The work of "Dialogue Centre Srebrenica - Bratunac" in the next two years period is financially supported by USAID in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Nansen Academy is an educational institution for adult students with different political, religious and cultural backgrounds. The Academy is founded on the inheritance of humanism and aims at strengthening the knowledge about this inheritance.
